Bruce Hillowe has been an innovator and leader in mental health law for practitioners, group practices, Article 31 agencies, and psychoanalytic institutes for decades. He has defended hundreds of mental health professionals before licensing boards.
Bruce was trained as a psychologist-psychoanalyst and attorney, which affords him a background of knowledge, experience, and skills in the interaction of mental healthcare and law, especially in psychotherapy practice.
He provides continuing education courses for licensed psychotherapists, especially in the areas of legal and ethical issues for psychotherapists, maintaining appropriate boundaries, and child abuse reporting.
